I have a cat, and would like to send you clips of him playing the piano. How can I reach you?
First off, if your cat can actually play the piano, you would do better putting clips of him up on YouTube than sending them to me. If you do insist on sending me your kitty videos (or would like to reach out for any other reason), the best place to find me at is by email at:
I like the look of your books, but I’m not quite sold… Is there a place I can get a preview?
Hell yeah there is! All I require is video proof of you standing on your head, attempting to spell “Raz i’Syul Arro” backwards (don’t worry, I can’t do it either), while a small child or monkey plays the piano in the background.
That, or you can get a brief preview of the books by clicking the covers of the books on their amazon product pages, which can be easily reached from here. If you’re looking for something a little more substantial, though, you can get the first 10% of each book for free at InstaFreebie by signing up for my mailing list. Here are the links for Child of the Daystar and The Warring Son. There you can also get the entire short story, Hand of the Black City, absolutely FREE by doing the same!
Your book is too long. Where can I get the audiobook?
Good news! The Wings of War have been picked up by Audible Studios, and the audiobooks can be found here, professionally recorded and wonderfully narrated!
Was going to do it myself, but after making some of my test listeners bleed from the ears, I decided professional was the better plan…
NOOO!! I missed out on your signed-copy giveaway! How do I make sure I don’t miss another?
Don’t ever leave my site. Like ever. Make it your homepage, your wallpaper, your Google Glass background, and the last thing you think about before you go to bed.
… or just subscribe to my mailing list, which can be done at the bottom of any page (including this one!).
I heard about your books on the interwebs. Something about some lizard-dude who likes to kill people. Sounds cool. Where can I get my copies?
If you’ve made it all the way to this FAQ without coming across a single one of my shameless marketing links to the shop, I applaud you.
And, of course, supply you with one right here.
You seem to like art. I like art, too. And I like your characters. Can I send you art of your characters?
I love fan art. In fact, I’m slowly collecting enough pieces to create a Fan Art Gallery under the “Extras” menu option. If you have work you think I would like, feel free to send it to email@example.com with the subject “FAN ART”, and will definitely take a peek!
THE WINGS OF WAR FAQ:
ERMAHGERD I NEEDS MORE. Please tell me there’s a 4th book?!
Alternatively, you should consider joining my Beta Team! If interested, just drop me a message at firstname.lastname@example.org!
No. You don’t get it. I need to know right NOW! If I email you, can you spill the details?
No need. I’ll tell you right now what happens. Voldemort appears on the back of a rainbow unicorn, proclaims his everlasting love for Frodo (oddly enough also on a unicorn, though a pony would seem the better choice), and they ride off into the sunset together. Then Raz wakes up and realizes it was all a dream caused by some bad LSD. In the next book, it all gets gone over again as Raz recounts this delirious adventure to his college roommates, the Pillsbury Doughboy and Puff the Magic Dragon.
Oh, and Cruella deVille dies in the last chapter.
Everywhere I look reviewers are talking about the success of the "trilogy." Is that it?? HOW COULD YOU LEAVE US IN THIS STATE?!
Hooooold up, cowboy!
Or cowgirl, of course. THIS IS AN INCLUSIVE SITE, DAMMIT!
Anyways… To be honest, I’ve noticed the same thing, and I’m at a loss as to why so many readers are under the impression The Wings of War is a trilogy. I believe I marketed it as such a very long time ago, but that was back before I even realized I could self-publish Child of the Daystar. Ever since then, I’ve been REALLY careful not to use the word “trilogy.”
There are going to be at least five books in The Wings of War series, with the very likely inclusion of a 6th (and possibly a 7th) if people are still digging the story. For those of you panicking about that, don’t worry. I DO NOT plan on dragging Wings out into a 75-book saga. I plan are tying up all the loose ends , then moving on to other things. I have plans, people. Big plans. HUUUUGE PLANS.
… At the moment, though, said plans involve nap time, so if you have any concerns regarding this info, make sure to drop me an email with any questions!
